The Domestic Violence Initiative for Women With Disabilities was founded to create, promote, and support viable alternatives for women with disabilities who are victims/survivors of domestic violence and/or caretaker abuse. This program also serves those who have become disabled as a result of domestic abuse. DVI provides extensive education and training to relevant service providers and the public about domestic violence and disability issues.
